PACE session discusses parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan
Baku, November 16 (AzerTAc). A session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which was held in Turkey, discussed parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.
Representatives of international organizations` observation missions and some foreign MPs expressed their opinions on the elections. It was noted that November 7 elections were democratic and transparent. Vote counting was transparent and access to polling stations was free.
PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu highlighted a special role of the Central Election Commission. According to observers, the run-up to elections, Azerbaijan`s electoral legislation meet international standards.
