Azeri doctors attended health system course in Barcelona
Baku, November 20 (AzerTAc). Azeri doctors of Public Health and Reforms Center (PHRC) participated in the seventh annual flagship course on strengthening health systems in Barcelona, Spain.
The course brought together delegations from Germany, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
Azeri representatives have been announced winners of the training in group exercises.
The eight-day training course focuses on how to improve health systems’ performance through improved health financing and service delivery.
The course is a joint activity of WHO/Europe, the World Bank Institute and the Health Policy Analysis Centre in Kyrgyzstan. It enables senior officials and health-sector stakeholders to discuss current and future challenges in a setting that provides a rare and unique opportunity to interact with policy-makers.
