START Youth & Students Film Festival ends
Baku, November 25 (AzerTAc). Co-organized by the Azeri ministry of culture and tourism, youth and sports and CINEMA Center, the START International Youth & Students Film Festival wrapped up November 24. The two-day festival featured almost 80 movies representing 16 countries.
The jury determined the winners of the festival in 6 categories. The winners include: “The lattice vacancy” film by Ukrainian filmmaker Bogdan Smirnov in “The best movie” category; “Starting path” by Kaveh Bahrami (Iran) in “The best documentary” category; “Nameless plant” by Georgian filmmakers in “The best student movie” category (director Georgi Gobaliani); “The Detachment” by Gleb Klishevich (Russia) in “The best student documentary” category; “Silent room” by Jan Eren (Turkey) in “The best experiment film” category and “The pie” by Alan Ostanin (Ukraine) in “The best social video” category.
