Azeri ambassador meets Syrian professor
Baku, November 25 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Syria Mahir Aliyev has met professor of the Damascus University Suleyman Zeydiyyah.
Zeydiyyah said he had visited Azerbaijan several times during the Soviet era. The professor described the opening of Azerbaijan`s embassy in Syria as an “important event in the history of the two countries”. He also donated several books to the Embassy`s library.
