Baku hosts international scientific conference
Baku, November 26 (AzerTAc). An international scientific conference on the theme “Dialogue between Civilizations: View from Azerbaijan : linguistics, pedagogy and literary aspects” is underway at the Azerbaijan University of Languages, AUL.
Rector of the university Samad Seyidov said the conference, which brought together scientists from 13 countries, would contribute to increasing Azerbaijan`s scientific potential.
"It will serve to expand prospects of Azerbaijani scientists` cooperation with their foreign counterparts, at the same time strengthening Azerbaijan`s international image," he added.
The conference focuses on religious and cultural diversity, Azerbaijan’s experience in this regard, problems of interfaith dialogue and Islamic geopolitics.
