Azerbaijan, Belarus discuss cooperation in emergency situations
Baku, November 26 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Emergency Situations, colonel-general Kamaladdin Heydarov has paid an official visit to Belarus for talks aimed at exploring ways to boost the bilateral coopeation in tackling emergency situations.
Heydarov met his Belarusian counterpart Enver Bariev.
During the visit the Azeri minister also viewed firefighting equipment, and met Azerbaijani students studying at Belarusian ministry`s Command-Engineering Institute.
Azerbaijan and Belarus approved an action plan for 2011-2013 to implement a cooperation agreement signed between the two countries` emergency situations ministries in 2006.
