Azerbaijan, EU discuss prospects for cooperation
Baku, November 26 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today met EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby.
They discussed current state of and prospects for cooperation between the organization and the country.
The relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union have recently intensified.
They also stressed the importance of the Eastern Partnership project.
Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Minister informed Semneby about the course of peace talks.
Semneby expressed hope the conflict would be resolved soon.
