Baku to host workshop on "Prospects of green economy and green business applications in Azerbaijan"
Baku, November 28 (AzerTAc). Baku will host a workshop on "Prospects of green economy and green business applications in Azerbaijan" next month.
The event is co-organized by the Union of Black Sea and Caspian Confederation of Enterprises, Azerbaijan Turkey Business Association (ATIB) and German Society for Technical Cooperation (GTZ).
The workshop will feature three panels - Implementation of environmental standards in Azerbaijan`s oil-chemistry industry; Exploration of alternative energy sources in Azerbaijan; and energy efficiency; and Waste management facilities in Azerbaijan.
The workshop is also expected to work out a Draft “Blueprint of the Green Economy & Green Business Strategy for Azerbaijan”.
The project is supported by the Federal Ministry for the Environment of Germany (BMU) in the framework of its International Climate Initiative.
