Azerbaijan`s defense minister leaves for Uzbekistan

Baku, November 29 (AzerTAc). Azeri defense minister, colonel-general Safar Abiyev left for Uzbek capital Tashkent to discuss military cooperation between the two countries, military-political situation in the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
A plan of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan is expected to be signed in 2011.
Mr. Abiyev will meet with Uzbek defense minister Kabul Berdiyev and other officials.
