Azerbaijan, Lithuania discuss emergency response cooperation
Baku, December 3 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Emergency Situations, colonel-general Kamaladdin Heydarov met the director of Lithuanian State Fire and Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, general Remigijus Baniulis on Thursday.
Kamaladdin Heydarov briefed Lithuanian official on the ministries` and its bodies` activity, and projects implemented by the Ministry.
Baniulis told of Lithuanian State and Rescue Department, saying his department is responsible for protection of people and environment in the emergency situations.
The sides exchange views on issues of mutual interest and underlined the necessity of boosting cooperation between the two countries` related structures.
