Leyla Aliyeva: AYOR gained much success
Yekaterinburg, December 3 (AzerTAc). Head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s Russian representation, chairwoman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR) Leyla Aliyeva visited Yekaterinburg city of Sverdlovsk oblast.
Mrs. Aliyeva met representatives of the regional departments of AYOR of Ural Federal district - Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and Tyumen oblasts of Russia.
Azerbaijan`s consul general in Yekaterinburg Sultan Gasimov told of many-sided activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and its Russian representation aimed at boosting humanitarian cooperation. Ms. Gasimov named a visit of Leyla Aliyeva to Yekaterinburg as a momentous event in socio-political life of the city. Diplomat underlined the large-scale activity of AYOR, which unites Azerbaijani young people both in Moscow and throughout the Russian Federation.
Mrs. Aliyeva briefed on AYOR`s activity, its purposes and the upcoming tasks, large-scale projects and events. She said one of the most important actions of AYOR and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is the international campaign “Justice for Khojaly”, aiming to bring the realities of Genocide committed by Armenians against the Azerbaijanis to the world community.
Chairwoman also said AYOR website has been recently renewed. She said AYOR TV to be soon opened will receive video materials from young people so that youth from different regions of Russia could know each other better.
Leyla Aliyeva also met with Chairperson of House of Representatives of Legislative Assembly of Sverdlovsk oblast Ludmila Babushkina to discuss prospects of humanitarian cooperation.
