Heydar Aliyev Foundation to cooperate actively with Yekaterinburg

Yekaterinburg, December 4 (AzerTAc). Head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s Office in the Russian Federation Leyla Aliyeva visited the Center of Oncology and Hematology of the Regional Clinic Hospital No 1 here and on behalf of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation presented a Sobol ambulance to it.
Minister of Health of Sverdlov oblast Arkadiy Belavskiy, chief medical officer Sergey Boyarskiy and Head of the Center Larisa Fechina told of the work of oncologists-hematologist
“The Heydar Foundation has had its office in Russia for four years. It pays great attention to healthcare. The Foundation builds hospitals, helps children, and donates vaccines from dangerous diseases on charity basis etc. Therefore, it was important for us to visit the hospital in Yekaterinburg,” Leyla Aliyeva said.

Heydar Aliyev Foundation starts cooperation with Middle Ural

Humanitarian ties have been in focus of the meeting between Governor Alexander Misharin and Head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Russia Leyla Aliyeva and Consul General of Azerbaijan Sultan Gasimov.
Misharin thanked Leyla Aliyeva for donating a well-equipped medical complex to the Children`s Center of Oncology and Hematology.
Discussions also revolved around student exchange between Sverdlov oblast`s universities and Azerbaijan, refresher courses for doctors.
Misharin told Leyla Aliyeva that the huge Azerbaijani diaspora exists in the Middle Ural. He asked her to convey gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for opening of the Consulate general in Yekaterinburg.
“It impressed me very much, in particular, doctors` attitude to children, their cordiality. In the future, I think, it would be good to organize doctor exchange, invite your doctors to Baku so that they could share their experience,” said Leyla Aliyeva when asked about her impressions after visiting the hospital of oncology and hematology.
On the charity concert of Azerbaijani composer and singer Emin Agalarov, Sultan Gasimov underlined the money raised from the concert went to the Orphanage No6 in Yekaterinburg.
Leyla Aliyeva and her spouse Emin Agalarov also visited the museum of local lore, history and economy where they became familiar with the ancient and rich history of this region.
Later the same day, the couple visited the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Yekaterinburg, which opened in earlier in May. Discussions mainly revolved around cultural projects supported by Leyla Aliyeva.
