Iran Minister lashes out at those who did not condem assasinations

Tehran, Dec 5, IRNA – Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics said that those who did not condem the assassination of two nuclear scientists in Iran, are partners to these crimes.
On the sideline of the commemoration ceremony for Shahid Beheshti University professor Majid Shahriari, General Ahmad Vahidi told reporters that those who talk about fight against terrorism, but do not condemn such clear terrorism are weak even in their own logic.
He added that behind such assasinations are the Zionist regime and western countreis, which want to stop Iran from access to scientific and technological abilities and think that, by doing such acts, can create fear among Iranian scientists.
Vahidi continued that the west thinks that people like martyr Majid Shahriari and Dr. Fereidoun Abbasi are only a few in Iran, while our country has many of such scientists.
He said that maybe protection of all scientists in Iran is not practical, but security officials certainly have plans to do so.
Majid Shahriari and Fereidoun Abbasi were targeted by terrorist attacks in Tehran last Monday in which Dr. Shahriari was martyred and Dr. Abbasi was wounded./end
