Yemeni FM lauds Iran’s constructive role in the region
Manama, Dec 5, IRNA -- Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi said on Saturday that the Islamic Republic of Iran plays constructive role in the region.
He made the remarks in a meeting with Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on the sidelines of the major security conference, the Manama Dialogue, in Bahrain.
Referring to Iranian initiative to help resolve political conflict in Yemen, he said that negotiations help remove misunderstandings.
Mottaki for his part, welcomed the rational approach adopted by Yemeni government and nation to leave behind the crisis and conflict and expressed the hope that the current approach to continue to help Yemen attain significant development and success.
The two foreign ministers studied the current difficulties in the way of implementing the economic projects in Yemen by Iranian companies and speed up the process of putting into practice the agreements already signed between the two countries./end
