Azerbaijani official attends maritime safety meeting
Baku, December 6 (AzerTAc). Chief of the Azerbaijan Maritime Administration Gudrat Gurbanov attended the 88th session of the International Maritime Organization`s Maritime Safety Committee in London
On the sidelines of the session, Gurbanov met with heads of maritime authorities of some leading countries. Gudrad Gurbanov briefed his counterparts on the progress achieved in maritime transportation in Azerbaijan and sea safety cooperation.
Foreign specialists praised what has been done by the Azerbaijan State Maritime Administration in the sea transport sector.
Neil Ferrer was unanimously elected as chairman of the Maritime Safety Committee for 2011.
