Baku Fires beat Incheon Red Wings in Boxing World Series
Baku, December 12 (AzerTAc). The Baku Fires have defeated South Korea's Incheon Red Wings 4-1 in the inaugural World Series of Boxing in Baku.
The Baku Fires` squad included Magomed Abdulhamidov (Azerbaijan), Ramal Amanov, Soltan Migitinov, Ramazan Magomedov and Beka Lobjanidze.
The Baku Fires will next face Kazakhstan`s Astana Arlans.
Twelve teams are competing in the World Series, four from each regional conference - Asia, Europe and the Americas. The winner of each conference and the best runner-up will contest the final in Malaysia.
A city team and the best individual boxers will be crowned world champions in the series. The best boxers will also qualify for the 2012 London Olympics.
