Anama destroys over 4 thousand Uxos and mines in November
Baku, December 14 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan National Mine Action (ANAMA) has cleared 2,397,568 sq. meters area of land from 4,886 Unexploded Ordnances (UXO) and mines in November. ANAMA found 21 tank mines.
Demining operations involved 425 deminers, 6 mechanical demining machines, 30 mine detection dogs.
To date, ANAMA has cleared 148,748,294 sq.m. of land, destroying 634,283 mines and UXOs.
The Agency has carried demining operations in the regions of Tartar, Agdam, Agstafa, Fizuli, Agjabady and Garadag district of Baku.
