Genocide acts made against Azerbaijanis are crimes against humanity

Baku, December 14 (AzerTAc). Member of Azerbaijan Parliament Ganira Pashaeva, who took part in the "International forum against human traffic", held in the Egyptian city of Luxor, in the frame of forum has met the honorable chairperson of the Senate of Belgium Senator Anne Marie Lizin.

At the meeting the honorable Senator was given detailed information on occupation by Armenia of the 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands, deportation of 1 million Azerbaijanis from their homes, and the current situation around the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Ganira Pashaeva told that the acts of genocides committeed against Azerbaijanis, are one of the most monstrous crimes made against humanity and it is necessary, that the world community stated its stance in this regard.

Speaking about interest of foreign investors to Azerbaijan, the Belgian Senator noted that Azerbaijan attracts with its unique nature, the monuments, rich tourist potential. Anne Marie Lizin spoke of the international efforts in the field of struggle against human trafic. The parties had exchange of views on strengthening of the role of NGOs and activization of the international cooperation in this area.

Pashaeva informed on the work done in this field in Azerbaijan.

Joining the meeting was also the director of the Center of Studies of high technologies at the Ministry of Communications and İnformation Technology, professor Sevda Abdullayeva, who informed the guest about the work done in Azerbaijan in the field of high technologies.
