Azerbaijan, Ukraine discuss energy cooperation
Baku, December 15 (AzerTAc). President of the Azerbaijan`s State Oil Company (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev has met Ukrainian Minister of Fuel and Energy Yuriy Boiko.
Abdullayev praised high-level political, economic, science and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
He highlighted regional energy projects implemented in the country.
The President said the projects have good outlook in terms of ensuring European energy security.
Boiko stressed Ukraine was interested in close cooperation with Azerbaijan in the energy sector.
The Ukrainian Minister described the Socar`s owning network of filling stations as manifestation of close partnership relations between the two countries.
Abdullayev said SOCAR would further expand investment projects in Ukraine.
He also expressed confidence Ukraine-Azerbaijan energy cooperation would continue to strengthen.
