South Africa hosts INTOSAI congress
Baku, December 17 (AzerTAc). The 20th congress of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) has been held in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan Chamber of Accounts Adil Maharramov and chief of department of international cooperation and information technologies Mubariz Huseynguliyev attended the event.
During the Congress, the strategic plan of the INTOSAI for the forthcoming years has been adopted.
Participants discussed the values and benefits of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs), environmental auditing and the importance of international auditing standards.
Participants agreed to hold the 21st congress of the INTOSAI in Beijing, China in 2013.
