Azerbaijan does great work in social sector in 2010, President Ilham Aliyev
Baku, January 1 (AzerTAc). Much work has been done in 2010 in the social sphere, President Ilham Aliyev said in his message on the occasion of the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year.
“45 healthcare facilities have been repaired and built. Over 70 schools have been constructed and repaired and 5 Olympic sport centers have been built. Minimum salaries and pensions have been increased, the targeted social assistance program is being realized successfully. It suggests our policy is socially-oriented one. We live under market economy conditions and our economy is totally built on principles of market economy. The strong social policy is our major task as well,” he added.
