WAC`s 3rd congress slated for March
Baku, January 4 (AzerTAc). The third Congress of World Azerbaijanis (WAC) will take place in Baku this March, according to chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora, Nazim Ibrahimov.
“All the organizational and technical issues have already been solved.”
“The President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, also emphasized the importance of holding the congress in his recent congratulatory message to the world Azerbaijanis,” he noted.
Ibrahimov said: “We also plan to hold a founding conference of the World Azerbaijanis Youth Union in 2011.”
