Iranian films line up for Indian festival
TEHRAN, Jan. 9 (MNA) -- A number of Iranian films are competing in the 9th Pune International Film Festival, which is currently underway in the city of Pune in western India.
“Certified Copy” by Abbas Kiarostami, “The Day Goes and the Night Comes” by directors Omid Bonakdar and Keyvan Ali-Mohammadi, “Salve” by Alireza Davudnejad, “Afghanistan, the Lost Truth” by Yasamin Maleknasr, and “The Voices” by Farzad Motamen will be screened during the festival, which runs until January 13.
“Happy Birthday” by Fereshteh Parnian, “Rainy Seasons” by Majid Barzegar, “Across the River” Abbas Ahmadi-Motlaq, “Twenty” by Abdorreza Kahani, and “There Are Things You Don’t Know” by Fardin Sahebzamani are also among the Iranian films slated to be shown by the organizers of the festival.
