Azerbaijan`s and Bosnia and Herzegovina`s foreign ministries sign cooperation agreement
Baku, January 12 (AzerTAc). Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina have today signed a cooperation protocol. The document was inked by Elmar Mammadyarov and Sven Alkalaj.
Before the signing ceremony, the two ministers discussed a wide range of bilateral and regional issues.
Mammadyarov praised the political relations between Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and said there were good opportunities to expand economic cooperation.
Alkalaj stressed the importance of intensifying reciprocal high-level visits, in particular by businessmen and cultural figures.
“There is a need to expand a legal basis in order to be more successful in bilateral relations.”
Alkalaj also touched upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, saying Bosnia and Herzegovina unambiguously supported Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.
