President of European Commission: We will support a principle of territorial integrity and we want Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity to be ensured
Baku, January 14 (AzerTAc). We will support a principle of territorial integrity and, from this point of view, we want Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity to be ensured, said visiting President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso.
Expressing concern over the lack of progress in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Barosso said, “It is high time for all parties to make further efforts for a swift peaceful solution. The work of the OSCE Minsk Group must therefore continue. The EU fully backs its efforts.”
According to Barroso, the EU stands ready to provide further support if agreed by all parties: political support to the peace process and reconstruction assistance once a settlement has been agreed.
