Azeri economic development minister hails industrialization policy in 2010
Baku, January 15 (AzerTAc). The policy of industrialization continued in Azerbaijan in 2010, said the country`s minister of economic development Shahin Mustafayev.
“Last year saw the launch of 60 industrial enterprises, while the construction of more than 80 facilities continued,” the minister told a President-chaired Cabinet meeting to discuss results of socio-economic development in 2010 and outline priorities for the current year.
“These facilities covered a wide range of fields, including power engineering, nonferrous-metals industry, machine building and agriculture.”
Mustafayev also praised the establishment of space industry and efforts towards launching Azerbaijan`s first satellite in 2012, as well as development of non-oil sector.
