`Azerbaijan`s military spending will exceed $3 billion`
Baku, January 17 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s military and defense spending will exceed $3 billion in the current year, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at a Cabinet`s meeting on the outcomes of the socio-economic development in 2010 and outstanding tasks in 2011
The Head of State noted, “ In 2011, our military and defense spending will exceed $3 billion. Most of these funds will again be spent on arms, ammunition and military hardware. We will continue to pursue this process. I am confident that Azerbaijan’s strong army must and will have its say when the time comes to resolve the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh”.
