Tehran to file complaint against Israel over assassination of scientist

TEHRAN, Jan. 18 (MNA) -- Iran plans to lodge a legal complaint against the Zionist regime accusing it of killing an Iranian nuclear scientist, Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said on Tuesday.

Particle physicist Masoud Ali-Mohammadi was assassinated in a terrorist bomb attack in Tehran in January 2010. The university professor was killed by a remote-control bomb attached to a motorbike.

The Iranian Intelligence Ministry recently issued a statement declaring that the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad was behind the murder of the prominent scientist.

Salehi told that Iran has collected enough documentation to prove that Israel played a direct role in the terrorist attack.

Iran’s complaint will soon be submitted to the relevant international organizations, he added.
