U.S. meddling in Lebanon

TEHRAN, Jan. 18(MNA)--Iranian MP Mohammad Karami-Rad stated that the U.S. interventions would not let the rival Lebanese groups reach a consensus over issues facing the country.

“The issue of Lebanon and its developments will certainly get nowhere due to the meddling by (certain) countries like U.S., and Hezbollah is making efforts to bring this point to light,” Karami-Rad told .

He added, “The issues in Lebanon must be settled in a way that the rights of the resistant people of Lebanon are fulfilled. The current government (Hariri government) is not able to serve the interests of the nation, and Hezbollah’s objection is due to this issue.”

The countries that are benefiting from instability in Lebanon are making attempts to create a “poisonous atmosphere” there, Karami-Rad said.
