Commission for combating corruption discuss follow-up actions in 2011
Baku, January 28 (AzerTAc). The Commission for the Fight against Corruption convened for a meeting presided over by Head of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev to discuss results of the last year and outstanding tasks.
Chairman of the Commission Ramiz Mehdiyev said important social and economic successes had been achieved thanks to the President Ilham Aliyev-led economic policy and reforms. He drew the attention of meeting participants to the shortcomings and mistakes highlighted by the Head of State at the Cabinet`s meeting.
Mehdiyev informed the participants about the President`s instructions and stressed the need to correct mistakes made by central and local authorities, law-enforcement bodies and solve existing problems.
Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov, Justice Minister Fikret Mammadov and others spoke at the meeting and made respective proposals to fulfill President Ilham Aliyev`s instructions and make things right.
