Cooperation protocol to play important role in developing Azerbaijan-Greece relations
Baku (AzerTAc) - “A cooperation protocol in the field of economy, industry and technology signed between Azerbaijan and Greece in Baku would play an important role in developing in bilateral relations”, said co-chair of Azerbaijan-Greece intergovernmental commission, industry and energy minister Natig Aliyev.
The Minister said they exchanged views on all spheres, in particular energy sector.
Mr. Aliyev underlined they agreed to take practical steps for building of the Southern corridor.
He said President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso had supported the Southern corridor and roadmap was outlined during his visit to the country.
A working group was established to solve the problems facing the Southern corridor.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev invited heads of big companies and financial groups during his meetings at the World Economic Forum to get involved in the work of the joint working group.
