Jakarta, Aug 14 (ANTARA) - The leadership of the House of Representatives (DPR) has invited members of Myanmar's parliament living in exile to attend a House plenary session on August 15, sources in the House's secretariat said.

"To us in the House's Commission I, inviting the Myanmar parliamentarians is an effort to provide moral support for democracy building in Myanmar and in the ASEAN region in general," chairman of the House's Commission I Theo L Sambuaga said commenting on the House leadership's initiative.

He said a number of MPU members were now living in exile in a number of countries.
