Egyptian officials remarks about Iran lack validity: Iranian official
TEHRAN, Feb.9(MNA)--Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Tuesday that the remarks by the Egyptian officials have no validity for the Iranian nation.
Mehmanparast made the remarks in reaction to the recent remarks by Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit in which he reprimanded Iran for its position toward the popular uprising in Egypt.
“The great development that is underway in Egypt, in the first place, put into question the qualification of those in authority. And words of someone which have no validity for the Egyptian nation have no validity for our nation as well,” Mehmanparast told a regular news briefing.
