Azerbaijan, Council of Europe: cooperation on human rights
Baku, February 9 (AzerTAc). Human Rights Commissioner of Azerbaijan organized round table meeting devoted to the 10th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s membership of the Council of Europe.
The representatives of MPs, governmental and non-governmental organizations, international bodies discussed the topic “Azerbaijan and Council of Europe: cooperation on human rights” in the “round table”.
Commissioner Elmira Suleymanova, chief of Milli Majlis Committee on international relations and inter-parliamentary ties Samad Seyidov highlighted on productive cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe, Azerbaijan`s integration to Europe and the role of civil society in integration, honoring the Council of Europe obligations and other themes.
