President Ilham Aliyev opens Samad Vurgun Poetry House after reconstruction in Gazakh region
Gazakh, February 9 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated Samad Vurgun Poetry House after reconstruction.
The Head of State laid flowers at the monument to people`s poet Samad Vurgun.
The President was informed about the reconstruction work in the Poetry House.
It was stressed national leader Heydar Aliyev attached great importance to Samad Vurgun`s creativity.
President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Samad Vurgun in 2005.
President Ilham Aliyev viewed photos reflecting different periods of the poet`s lifetime and activity.
The President congratulated employees of the Poetry House and wished them successes.
