Iran to open electricity bourse next year
TEHRAN, Feb.10(MNA) – Iranian deputy energy minister said that the foundation for an electricity bourse has been laid and hopefully it will come on stream by next year.
Mohammad Behzad said Iran Grid Management Co. (IGMC) has made good progress in establishing the electricity bourse and acquired the needed permission from the Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) of Iran.
Experts maintain opening an electricity bourse in Iran will encourage the private sector to cooperate in this industry helping it flourish in the country.
