Minsk hosts 18th International book fair
Baku (AzerTAc) - The 18th Minsk International Book Fair “Books of Belarus-2011” opened on Tuesday in Minsk, Belarus.
The fair brought together over 600 exhibitors from Azerbaijan, Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Venezuela, India, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Cuba, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, France, Sweden and Switzerland.
The Books of Belarus exhibition opens a year of international book fairs. The forum in Minsk is included in the prestigious international book fair calendar.
The 18th Minsk International Book Fair “Books of Belarus-2011” is organized by the Belarusian Information Ministry, the Belarusian Publisher and Bookseller Association, Belkniga and Makbel companies, Belarusian Minister of Information Oleg Proleskovsky said.
Minsk International Book Fair will stay open till 13 February.
