GOVT TO ISSUE RETAIL BONDS ON SEPT 3
Jakarta, Aug 14 (ANTARA) - The government plans to issue retail bonds worth Rp6.225 trillion on Sept 3 through 18 appointed dealers.
"The Finance Minister has approved the structure of the bonds bearing the serial number of ORI005," Director General of Debt Management at the Finance Ministry Rahmat Waluyanto said on Thursday.
The bonds would be offered on August 19-29 with the allotment being made on Sept 1.
The five-year bonds which would mature on Sept 15, 2013 would be issued at a coupon of 11.45 percent, he said.
"Interest will be paid on every 15th," he said.
He said the issuance of the retail bonds was aimed at meeting the funding needs in the revised 2008 state budget, developing the domestic market, among others.
