‘Lithuania is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in all fields, in particular energy sector’
Baku, February 10 (AzerTAc). “Lithuania is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in all fields, in particular energy sector,” Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas Irena Degutiene said in a meeting with Azerbaijan`s industry and energy minister Natig Aliyev.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
The Azeri Minister briefed Mrs. Degutiene on the country`s social and economic achievements.
Mr. Aliyev also spoke of energy projects implemented in Azerbaijan.
He said Azerbaijan was keen on realization of the Odessa–Brody- Plotsk-Gdansk pipeline project.
He underlined the implementation of the project would play important role in ensuring energy security of the Baltic States.
The Lithuanian Speaker stressed the importance of the Odessa–Brody- Plotsk-Gdansk pipeline project.
