President Ilham Aliyev inaugurates Khan Baghi Park in Ganja
Baku, February 10 (AzerTAc). President Ilham Aliyev on February 9 inaugurated the Khan Baghi, a park of culture and rest in Ganja.
The 300 year old Khan Baghi park is one of the oldest parks in Caucasus. The park covering 7 hectares has recently undergone major reconstructions following the instructions of the President Ilham Aliyev. The park is decorated with trees, decorative bushes, two fountains and a modern lightning system. Also a 350 seat Green Theater was constructed at the park. A monument to the People`s poetess of Azerbaijan Nigar Rafibeyli and Hero of the Soviet Union Israfil Mammadov were also totally renewed.
After visiting a park, President Ilham Aliyev met representatives of Ganja public.
