President Ilham Aliyev opens Samukh auxiliary station
Baku, February 10 (AzerTAc). President Ilham Aliyev has inaugurated the Samukh auxiliary 500 kilowatt-station in the region of Samukh.
President of Azerenerji OJSC Etibar Pirverdiyev informed the Head of State that construction of the station started in July, 2008 and was completed 2010.
The Samukh auxiliary 500 kilowatt-station occupies a total area of 30 hectares in Lak village of the region.
The Samukh auxiliary station is the second largest in the country.
The facility will supply the Aluminum and Steel Plants with electricity in Ganja region.
The President familiarized himself with the administrative building of the auxiliary station.
President Ilham Aliyev viewed photos reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s contribution to development of power industry in the country.
President Ilham Aliyev launched the station in the administrative building and wished successes to builders and power engineering specialists.
