Azeri Rabita progress to 1/6 round of Champions League
Baku (AzerTAc) - The Azerbaijan women`s volleyball club Rabita have reached the 1/6 round of the Champions League, after beating Czech Modranska 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-19) in the second game of the 1/12 round in Baku.
Rabita got back on track but the final 3:0 was not yet enough to qualify for the Playoffs 6 as a golden set was to be played as per the rules governing this year`s CEV Champions League, because the Czech club defeated Rabita 3-2 in the first match.
Rabita beat Modranska 15-11 in the golden set and qualified for the 1/6 round. Rabita will next face Polish Fakro.
