Iranian cyclist wins gold in Asian championship
TEHRAN, Feb.12(MNA) -- Iran’s Mohammad Rajablou claimed the gold medal in the senior men’s points race event of the Asian Cycling Championships.
Rajablou won the gold bagging 52 points in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
South Korean Park Sung-baek finished the 90-lap race second with 51 points.
Malaysian Mohd Adiq Husainie Othman claimed the bronze with 45 points.
The 31st Asian Cycling Championships and the 18th Asian Junior Cycling Championship started Tuesday in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand and end on February 18.
