Iran will send a man into space in 10 years
TEHRAN, Feb. 12 (MNA) -- Addressing millions of Tehranis held demonstrations on February 11 to commemorate the 32nd anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that Iran will send astronauts into space in 10 years.
Lauding the country’s great achievements in the area of science and technology, he also said that Iran plans to send living creatures into space during Iranian calendar year 1390, which begins on March 21.
