SNSC pursuing border security issue : Iranian Intelligence Minister
TEHRAN, Feb.15(MNA) -- Iranian Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi told reporters on Sunday that the Supreme National Security Council is seriously pursuing the issue of border security.
The relevant bodies are pursuing the closure of borders and positive measures have been taken in this regard, he stated.
Asked about the terrorist group Jundullah, Moslehi said that the security forces are keeping a close eye on the moves by the group.
Given Iran’s tight control over the Jundullah members “we will arrest them as soon as they start to make a move,” he added.
The Jundullah group has conducted several terrorist attacks in southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan. On December 15, 2010, a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device outside a mosque in Chabahar during a Shia religious ceremony, killing 35 people and injuring more than 100 others.
