FIVE COUNTRIES PARTICIPATE IN PARAGLIDING COMPETITION IN GARUT
Garut, West Java, Aug. 16 (ANTARA) - At least 30 paragliders from five countries are participating in a paragliding competition in Garut District, West Java, on Friday and Saturday, (Aug. 15-16).
Foreign participants were from Russia, India, Germany, Britain, and Australia, Head of the Garut Tourism and Cultural Service Maman Rusmana said here on Saturday.
The foreign paragliders comprise 27 males and three females, including a 50-year-old woman from Australia.
The event is aimed at promoting tourism in Garut which has beautiful hills, forests and lakes.
