Commemorative events to mark Khojaly genocide`s 19th anniversary to be held in Turkey
Baku, February 16 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Consulate General in Istanbul will organize a series of commemorative events to mark the 19th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.
A conference on “The occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh and Khojaly genocide” will be held in the city of Yalova. Similar conferences will be held at Suleyman Demirel University in Isparta and Aydin University in Istanbul.
Another commemorative event will be co-organized in Izmir by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Izmir Circle of Azerbaijanis.
The events will bring together MPs, historians, scientists and politicians.
