Azerbaijan, Cuba discuss cooperation prospects
Baku (AzerTAc) - Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov has met today Cuban counterpart Bruno Eduardo Rodriguez Parrilla.
The discussions focused on the current state of and prospects for relationship between the two countries.
Mammadyarov said the two countries had great potential to develop cooperation in economy, culture, education, tourism and other spheres.
He also briefed the Cuban Minister on settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
Bruno Eduardo Rodriguez Parrilla, in turn, praised the level of political relations between the two countries. He said the two countries had great potential to boost bilateral economic cooperation. He also underlined the importance of reciprocal visits.
On the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Minister pointed out his country supports Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.
The sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
