Australia urges its citizens not to travel to Armenian-occupied lands of Azerbaijan
Baku, February 20 (AzerTAc). The Foreign Ministry of Australia strongly advised its citizens not to travel to Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding military occupied areas because of the risk of armed clashes in the region, AzerTAc reports citing the ministry`s website.
The travel advice information suggests “the dispute with Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh remains unresolved and insurgent forces occupy part of Azerbaijan territory. A ceasefire has been in place since 1994 but regular breakdowns occur”.
Foreign Ministries of France, Germany, UK, Spain, Italy and Hungary also did not recommend its nationals to visit Armenian-occupied lands of Azerbaijan.
