HH the Amir receives head of Amiri grant committee
KUWAIT, Feb 22 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah with presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Tuesday in Bayan Palace, head of the committee following up on distribution of the Amiri Grant Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah and committee's officials, during which H.H. the Amir permitted the distribution of the Amiri Grant.
H.H. the Amir praised the efficiency of the committee's efforts in reinforcing prosperity and advancement of the state of Kuwait.
Memorial gifts have been submitted to H.H. the Amir and H.H. the Crown Prince.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah.
On the other hand, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Sabah said in a statement after his meeting with H.H. the Amir, that the committee is honored to disburse the Amiri Grant and to meet H.H. the Amir and H.H. the Crown Prince.
According to the statement there are more than 1.83 million Kuwaiti citizens will receive the Amiri Grant before its expected date, which is February 22.
